No. BYF uses virtual coins only. Coins are free, have no cash value, and can't be withdrawn, transferred for money, or redeemed for prizes. There is no way to win real money in BYF.

When the result is in, members of the group vote on which side won. Once one side gets 3 votes and nobody has voted the other way, the bet settles automatically and coins are paid out. If the vote is split, the group's commissioner makes the final call, and they can also void a bet to refund everyone. If nobody takes the other side before a bet expires, it's cancelled and your coins are returned.

The iOS app may offer optional in-app purchases of extra virtual coins or group upgrades. Purchased coins are still virtual: they have no cash value and can't be cashed out.

The demo is a full web version of the app connected to a sandbox. Data in the demo may be reset at any time and purchases are disabled.

In the app, go to Profile → Account → Delete account. You can also email us and we'll delete it for you.
